Thirsty Thursday with the Minnesota Faction

Thursday, August 2. 6 PM. MPLS/U of M/West Bank/Stadium Village.

Paul "Smithers" Smith, OG Faction member is putting together a U of M street ride! If we're lucky the MC Freestyle Team will be there to do one of thier "demos".

"We will meet out front of Sally's Bar between 6 and 6:30 PM. We will take off from Sally's at 6:30 proceeding West on Washington to the banks in front of Moos Tower on the U campus. From there, we will hit various street spots around the U. I'm hoping to figure out our route in advance so that any late arriving-types will be able to catch up to us. I'll post the route here when I figure it out.

This is a street ride where we will stop at various spots and shred them. Hopefully, we won't attract too much attention...Anyone is welcome even if they can't do a street trick...MC Freestyle team, that means you. Bring your race cruiser for all I care. Hey, we could use some photogs/filmers too...

We will ride til about 9 PM, then return to Sally's for some refreshments/food. Don't expect to stay too late, we gotta work in the morning...we're not college kids anymore.

Note there is no parking at Sally's, but you should be able to find something on the street. Bring quarters for the meter."
